My grandmother once told me she always took the same route through the park behind her house, because it had the best views. This made me wonder how many stories exist around us like this: that are held in our memories but never written down.
“Hidden in Plain Sight” is an effort to document the everyday observations and stories that shape how people experience Scarborough. I wanted to know: What knowledge exists in a neighbourhood that never makes it into official history?
